When it comes to relationships, one thing we don’t talk about enough is healing after divorce.
It’s a subject people tend to shy away from, and understandably so because there are no cookie-cutter answers. Every story and situation of divorce is so different and unique. But at the end of the day, just like any loss, divorce always includes heartbreak and the need for healing.
There are principles and concepts that can be extracted and applied no matter what your specific situation.
Healing After Divorce
When this question about healing after divorce came into the hotline, I knew I wanted Eryn Eddy to be my co-host for this episode.
She’s a woman who knows the deep pain of divorce, but more so, she knows what it looks like to pursue healing after deep heartbreak. I’m so impressed by how she has used her pain, and I know this conversation will BLESS YOU SO MUCH if you’ve been through the pain of divorce.
In this episode we cover:
- Identity and how divorce can impact what we believe and what we DO.
- Dealing with pain, confusion, and insecurity after divorce.
- Self-sabotage that can happen after divorce.
- Working through the stigma and shame that comes in Christian culture.
- Pursuing healing after divorce.
- And so much more….
